  Thallus white to off-white or pale greenish white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata conspicuous, numerous, immersed to semi-immersed, white, with a well-defined raised thalline margin, straight, curved or sinuous, rarely branched, 1–4 mm long, (0.2–) 0.4–0.5 mm wide. Proper exciple pale brown, lateral, poorly defined. Hymenium 125–150 µm thick, I–. Epihymenium initially smooth and epruinose, becoming whitish- to pale brown-pruinose. Ascospores 1 per ascus, muriform, 80–120 (–145) × 20–35 (–45) µm, I+ blue.
CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid.
     
  A corticolous species in eastern Qld and N.S.W.; also in Cameroon, Tanzania, Indonesia, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands and Norfolk Island.
